Lakewood Families,

Thank you for another great week at Lakewood! We are looking forward to next week's Parent Information Nights. This is a great opportunity for parents to get a better understanding of the focus and expectations for students in their new grade-level for this school year. Please make note of the times and locations for each grade-level. We are looking forward to seeing you here!

Parent Information Night Locations

Kinder, 1st and 2nd will be held in the teachers' classrooms

3A (Mr. Arcelus) and 4A (Mr. Chacon) will be held in Mr. Chacon's classroom (182) on their grade-level's nights

3rd grade, 4th grade and 5th grade will be held in the auditorium.

As Lakewood Elementary PTA’s primary family giving campaign, this annual drive raises critical funds to fill gaps in our school’s budget. Our goal is to raise $85,000 through your generous contributions. Our recommended ask is $150 per student, but our goal is 100% participation at any level of donation.

Please make sure all snack-packers in your household are aware that peanuts snacks and lunches may NOT be sent into school, for the safety of students with peanut allergies.

Students in grades 2-5 will be able to pick up an application at the informational and apply to be matched one-to-one with a buddy. Please read the PARENT LETTER for more information and access the APPLICATION HERE

Lunch Bunch Fall Sign-Up

Please complete the confidentiality form & DISD voly training prior to signing up for a shift & join the Lunch Bunch GroupMe for communication and updates throughout the school year.

Do you want to volunteer at Lakewood Elementary but don't know how? Please join us on Monday, August 28 at 6:30pm in the Lakewood Elementary Auditorium to hear all about it. There's an opportunity for everyone. Want to get ahead? Go ahead and do the required DISD Voly application here. Click "Create an account" if this is your first time. (This must be done each year.)

Our annual Lakewood Elementary Fall Fest is right around the corner, and we need sponsors (business or families!) to underwrite the cost of the 8 amazing rides, Main Stage, Midway Booth Games and more so we can keep ticket prices low for our Stallions to attend! 

Remaining sponsorships range from $250-$2,500. Marketing benefits include free event tickets, signage at activity location, logo on sponsor banner, mention in eNews and on social media, and more!

If you have uniforms to donate (starting at size 10 and up), please drop them on the porch of 6916 Lakeshore Avenue. The Long colors are: white, navy and grey shirts; navy, khaki, black bottoms. Thank you!

Camp Lakewood Fall 2023 will be the weekend of Sept 29-Oct 1, 2023 at the always awesome Collin County Adventure Camp. Take the short ride up 75 to Anna to join all your friends for a great weekend of camping and fun! Registration is open now!
