DON’T FORGET: Deadline - October 18. We have just over $10,000 left to meet our goal. If you have not donated, this is your chance!!! Lots of competition this year for free dress day and class popsicle/pizza party. Right now we have a three way tie for the class party - can you help push your class over the edge?! Third grade - can you beat First grade for the free dress day?! In general, we are so grateful for all of the support! We recommend $150 per student but our ultimate goal is 100% student participation at ANY donation level. This is our only fundraiser for the entire school year - isn’t it nice not to have to sell anything?! One last thing, another call out for a new opportunity this year...donations at $500 or more will be invited to a special evening reception with Principal Thompson!  Thanks Lakewood for all you do to make LWE so great!

Donate here!

We are still in need of some help manning two crosswalks. In the morning and afternoon, we need a volunteer to help students cross at the crosswalk at Wabash Circle. In only the afternoons we need a volunteer at the Sondra/Wendover crosswalk. Please review the available 15 minute slots below and sign up here. Thank you!

October is Dyslexia Awareness Month. We will kick of with a "SHINE BRIGHT" day. Wear your silver from head to toe! Don't have anything silver? Wear your Best Buddies Inclusion is My Jam or other LW spirit wear on Friday, October 6th. Want to learn more about dyslexia?
