NEW ANNOUNCEMENTS
Emergency Contacts Information

If you need to speak to someone at the school in the case of an emergency with your student or an issue with their school bus, please contact our office clerk, Ms. Hererra (972-749-7300 ext. 1).  She will be able to assess your situation and put you in touch with the person most able to assist. This is the fastest way to resolve your issue as our principals and counselors may be in classrooms or tending to other school related duties.  If Ms. Hererra is away from her desk, your call will be auto forwarded to another of our fantastic LWE office staff who can assist you.

Now, more than ever, there are lots of choices in East Dallas of where to send your kids to school. The great news is that right here, in our neighborhood, we have three amazing schools to call home. Join us to hear what all is happening within our neighborhood schools of Lakewood, Long and Woodrow so you are equipped with all of the facts to make the best decisions for your family and child. Special guest speakers Katie Eska, Executive Director of the Woodrow Wilson Feeder Pattern, and Amir Borourjerdi, J.L. Long Principal, will be in attendance. The best way to judge our schools is to hear and see for yourself. Times Ten will have wine available for purchase. Due to capacity, attendees are limited to 50, but there is a waitlist. RSVP HERE.

Lakewood Home Tour is  on November 11th and 12th! And, we still need volunteers to make this beloved neighborhood event happen. Volunteer shifts are 3 hours, and you can sign up to be a docent (sharing provided facts about the home) or work the check in table.
You can volunteer at any of the 7 homes, but if you want to volunteer with parents from your child's same grade level, we've assigned each grade to a home. See the links below to sign up for your shift. THANK YOU for your help!
