The party's about to start, but the bids are already rollin' in! Click here to start bidding in the Lakewood 3000 Silent Auction, sponsored by RingTex. Raffle tickets are also available! Bidding and raffle ticket purchases close Sunday at 9PM.

After the party is the Lakewood Home Tour! Get your tickets here. Home Tour runs this Saturday 11am - 4pm, Saturday night candlelight 7pm - 9:30pm, and Sunday 11am- 5pm. We can't wait to see you there!

This is one of the biggest fundraisers for our East Dallas schools and the event cannot happen without you. Please (please please) sign up for a volunteer shift. Shifts are 3 hours, you get to be in a gorgeous Lakewood Home. And most open slots are for docents. This means you share facts about the home in your stationed area. Super easy, and so incredibly valuable.

Students were matched one-to-one with their buddy and have been spending time together over the last couple of weeks! During their visits buddies may play games, do art, work on school assignments, and last week enjoyed participating in a Spooky Science Experiment!

This past Saturday, a few students and Faculty Advisor, Ms. Ellie Stevens, attended the Best Buddies Champion of the Year Gala at the Statler Hotel! Ellie, Stevie, and Stella spoke and represented Lakewood Elementary on stage in front of hundreds of Best Buddies supporters. It was so encouraging and exciting to see that our chapter is just a small part of a larger global movement for inclusion!

Now, more than ever, there are lots of choices in East Dallas of where to send your kids to school. The great news is that right here, in our neighborhood, we have three amazing schools to call home. Join us to hear what all is happening within our neighborhood schools of Lakewood, Long and Woodrow so you are equipped with all of the facts to make the best decisions for your family and child. Special guest speakers Katie Eska, Executive Director of the Woodrow Wilson Feeder Pattern, and Amir Borourjerdi, J.L. Long Principal, will be in attendance. The best way to judge our schools is to hear and see for yourself. Times Ten will have wine available for purchase. Due to capacity, attendees are limited to 50, but there is a waitlist. RSVP HERE.
