NEW ANNOUNCEMENTS
It’s Time to Enroll and Register at LWE Required for all students: Campus deadline May 1

It’s that time of year again! In order to properly staff our classrooms by anticipating enrollment numbers in each grade level, we need all new Lakewood students to enroll and all returning Lakewood students to register by May 1st. Thank you for your support!

There's something for everyone in this year's auction! Here's a little sneak peek of some of the fun items you can bid on starting next week! Follow @LakewoodElementaryPTA on Insta for more in-depth previews!

The cafeteria staff is excited to announce the launch of our Cafeteria Challenge, aimed at encouraging more students to enjoy meals from the cafeteria rather than bringing their own lunch.

The challenge will involve tracking student participation, and the top participating classes will receive a special prize. Additionally, the top school in the district with the highest participation rates will be treated to a delicious lunch from a food truck!

We believe that this initiative will not only promote healthy eating habits among students but also create a sense of community within our schools. Your support in promoting and encouraging student participation in this challenge is greatly appreciated.

Next week Lakewood will be celebrating Green and Clean Week in honor of Earth Day! Please note that students are required to wear uniform bottoms each day, except for Friday. On Friday only, they may wear jeans.

Last Chance – order your yearbook by April 19 for delivery to the school! Don’t let your kiddo miss getting classmates’ signatures!  Head to this link!

Monday night dinner plan... check! Mention that you're there for Lakewood Elementary Dine & Donate night.

RSVP here to the Thank You breakfast that Principal Thompson is doing for all LWE volunteers. We'd love to see you there!

This is a reminder that there is a parent meeting for registered families tonight,  Thursday, April 18th @ 6:00pm in the auditorium. Students may attend but this meeting is geared towards parents and guardians. The goal of this meeting is to go over the timeline over the course of the year and to form a fundraising committee so that we can kick off our fundraising efforts. As a reminder the goal of fundraising is to help lower the costs for all families, and funds will be split equally amongst student travelers.
