The 2026-2027 Site-Based Decision Making (SBDM) Committee meets September 17 at 5PM. Any member of the Lakewood community may submit agenda items by Monday, September 14 to sbdm@lakewoodelementary.net. Meeting minutes will be linked in a future Stallion Spotlight.

Each month, the Monthly Lunch Committee organizes a fun, festive and tasty meal for teachers and staff! September's Monthly Lunch is a Fiesta — presented by FOL (providing enchiladas), the PTA, and 5th Grade Families (providing the sides)!

What: Sign up to provide a side for the Fiesta!
When: Friday, September 18
Where: Items can be dropped off in front of the main doors, no later than 8:15AM. There will be volunteers there to take your items!

Mark your calendars for the Mini Campers’ performance during the JL Long football game! Mini Camp Cheerleaders will take the field at halftime of the 7th Grade JL Long football game and perform cheers learned at camp alongside the JL Long Cheerleaders!

Math Maniacs is FOL's before-school boost: parents and kids tackling bite-size math, sharing donuts, and starting the day with a win. 

FOL provides all materials (donuts, worksheets, pencils, awesome personalities!). Just show up and spend some quality time with your kid before school starts. Math & donuts are secondary benefits, the main intent of this program is to encourage parents to spend some time with their kids at school.
