 NEW ANNOUNCEMENTS

As Lakewood Elementary PTA’s primary family giving campaign, this annual drive raises critical funds to fill gaps in our school’s budget. Our goal is to raise $85,000 through your generous contributions. Our recommended ask is $150 per student, but our goal is 100% participation at any level of donation.

Donors that choose to give $500 or more will receive a Stallion Strong Donor Sign AND a special invitation to cocktails with Principal Thompson at private residence. (Date TBD in early 2024).

On behalf of the Lakewood Elementary PTA, I would like to invite you to join us at our first General Membership Meeting of the year - September 21 at 5:30 p.m. We will hear about upcoming PTA events and vote on important budget amendments. All current members are eligible to vote. JOIN PTA TODAY! Immediately following the meeting, join us for our first SEL speaker series.

Pre-sales of Fall Fest wristbands and t-shirts will begin next Thursday, September 21 at Lakewood Elementary PTA - Fall Festival!!

Are you a DIYer, know your way around a workbench, or looking for an outside-of-the-box way to volunteer? We have the perfect opportunity! We are revamping the Midway Games at Fall Fest on October 22 with the goal of creating high quality games that will be enjoyed for years to come….what an opportunity to leave a lasting legacy at Lakewood (and have bragging rights!). Each game will be associated with a Woodrow feeder pattern school or a Texas college. Click through to a sign-up genius with the schools and a brief description of the game idea. If you have a different game idea, please email fallfest@lakewoodelementary.net for consideration!

Students in 2nd-5th grade may apply to be matched one-to-one with a buddy! Applications can be found outside the TC Classroom, Room 172, on the bulletin board or linked here. Please read the PARENT LETTER for more information and access the APPLICATION.

From there you can add your student(s), upload photos into the content folders, order your yearbook and design personal pages. Camp Lakewood Fall 2023 will be the weekend of Sept 29-Oct 1, 2023 at the always awesome Collin County Adventure Camp. Take the short ride up 75 to Anna to join all your friends for a great weekend of camping and fun! Registration is open now!
