From the FOL Crossing Guards

There are new STOP signs on Wendover at each of the two crosswalks in back of the school. These are great. They are encouraging parents to go slowly in case there is a child trying to cross the street. But, as noted previously, Wendover is NOT a carpool lane! If you want to let your child out of the car in back of the school, you need to pull over to the curb to do so. It is not okay to stop on Wendover without pulling over, let your child get of the car, and continue to block traffic in both directions as the child is walking to their intended location. If you want to be able to watch your child cross the street, please pull over and park safely and walk your child through the crosswalk, or please feel free to come through the main carpool line in front of the school. Please help our community out and refrain from blocking traffic on Wendover, even if it is an easier solution for you. We are here to ensure all of our kids cross the street safely, and we are also here to move traffic efficiently. Please do your part by following the rules. Thanks!

FunFest is coming! The SUG for volunteers is currently circulating with 5th grade parents. The link for any remaining spots will be in eNews next week. K-2 does not need parent volunteers (older Stallions help out instead!).

All students and their families are welcome! RSVP here.
