A Message from Nurse Sundin

Please check your student's hair for lice/knits. If there is known lice in the class your teacher will notify you.

Monitor your child for signs of head lice that can include:

ï‚· Excessive itching of the scalp

ï‚· Live lice on the scalp and in hair

ï‚· Lice eggs (nits) in hair

The following measures may help prevent the spread of head lice:

ï‚· Do not share combs, brushes or other hair related items with others.

ï‚· Do not share hats, scarves or jackets with others.

ï‚· Avoid head to head or hair to hair contact during play or other activities at home, school and elsewhere.

For the most up-to-date policies re: lice, please check the nurse section of our website
