We are excited to share some incredible news with our Lakewood community!
Lakewood Elementary has once again earned an A Rating from the Texas Education Agency, marking our fifth consecutive year of receiving the state's highest accountability rating. In addition, our campus earned 5 of 6 Distinction Designations, recognizing exceptional performance in Reading, Mathematics, Science, Academic Growth, and Postsecondary Readiness.
While we are proud of these accomplishments, what makes this recognition truly meaningful is what it represents. An A rating is not earned in a single day or through the efforts of one group. It reflects the hard work of our students, the dedication of our outstanding staff, and the incredible partnership we share with our families.
Every day, our students demonstrate curiosity, perseverance, and a willingness to grow. Our teachers and staff create engaging learning experiences, build meaningful relationships, and provide unwavering support so every child can thrive. Our families reinforce learning at home, encourage their children, and partner with us in countless ways throughout the year. Together, these efforts create the exceptional learning community that makes Lakewood so special.
As we celebrate 75 years of Lakewood Elementary, this milestone reminds us that our greatest strength has always been our people. For generations, our community has believed in the limitless potential of children, and that shared commitment continues to shape the future of every Stallion who walks through our doors.
