From academic competitions and leadership opportunities to the arts, athletics, and service, our student clubs help Stallions explore new interests, build friendships, and grow beyond the classroom. Opportunities vary by grade level and are offered throughout the year. Watch for participation information from your child's homeroom teacher, campus communications, and The Stallion Standard.
Best Buddies | 2nd-5th Grade
Helps bring one-to-one friendships to elementary schools, helping students in special education form social connections within the school environment, promoting inclusive friendships, building leadership skills, and promoting a culture of respect at school.

Cheerleaders promote school spirit and high academic standards by performing district competitions and special events around campus. Students attend school-based clinics that teach teamwork, leadership, and cheering skills.

A hands-on opportunity to help care for Lakewood’s chickens, learn about animal care, and maintain our outdoor learning space.

Fifth graders research topics, prepare arguments, and participate in debate workshops and tournaments. This club strengthens critical thinking and public speaking skills.

Teams work together to solve open-ended challenges in areas such as engineering, improvisation, service learning, fine arts, and science. DI inspires creativity, critical thinking, and teamwork.

Like traditional sports, esports develops teamwork, communication, and leadership. Students practice weekly and compete in tournaments playing games such as Rocket League, Smash Bros., Fortnite, and Mario Kart.
